Small Business Rate Relief

Estimate your business rates savings in England. This tool applies the standard tapered relief logic for properties with rateable values between £12,000 and £15,000.

Standard small business multiplier is 49.9p (0.499)

Relief = 100% (if RV ≤ £12,000) Relief = (15,000 - RV) / 3,000 (if £12,000 < RV < £15,000)
RV of £13,500: (15,000 - 13,500) / 3,000 = 0.5 (50% relief)
