Shoe Size Conversion

Convert between different international shoe sizing systems or find your size based on your actual foot length measurement.

Standard Conversion Rules: • US Men: (Foot Length in inches × 3) - 24 • US Women: (Foot Length in inches × 3) - 22.5 • UK & India: (Foot Length in inches × 3) - 23 • EU: (Foot Length in cm + 1.5) ÷ 0.667 • China: (Foot Length in cm × 2) - 10 • Japan: Foot Length in cm
If your foot measures 10.5 inches (26.7 cm): • US Men: (10.5 × 3) - 24 = 7.5 • US Women: (10.5 × 3) - 22.5 = 9.0 • UK: (10.5 × 3) - 23 = 8.5 • EU: (26.7 + 1.5) ÷ 0.667 = 42.3

How do I measure my foot length accurately?

Place a piece of paper on a flat floor against a wall. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall. Mark the longest part of your foot (usually the big toe) on the paper. Measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark in centimeters or inches. Repeat for the other foot, as one is often slightly larger, and use the larger measurement.

What is the difference between US Men and US Women shoe sizes?

In the US and Canada, women's sizes are typically 1.5 sizes larger than men's for the same foot length. For example, a men's size 7 is approximately a women's size 8.5. This difference accounts for the typically narrower build of women's shoes.

Are UK and India shoe sizes the same?

Yes, India typically follows the UK (United Kingdom) shoe sizing system for both adults and children. If you know your UK size, it is generally safe to use the same size for Indian brands.

Why does my shoe size vary between brands?

While international standards exist, different manufacturers use different "lasts" (the foot-shaped molds used to make shoes). Some brands run "large" or "small" or have different width standards. Always check a specific brand's size chart if available.
